Who Gets Who???

I know everyone will be excited to determine picks. Picks will be made closer to the 4-5 weeks of age.

I will contact families in order of deposits received, and we will make picks via FaceTime, zoom, videos and/or photos.

We do NOT allow for early visitations. The litters health is of top priority, and unintended transmission of serious virus/illness (parvo/kennel cough) happens all too frequently when early visitors are allowed.

What Puppy Food Will they be Eating?

Kirkland Brand grain free puppy food

Momma Dog- Jade

Jade is a moyan poodle. She weighs about 35lbs. She is such a sweet girl. She loves to come lay her head on my should and just give me a hug. Jade is also super smart, very eager to please, and loves to play.

She has had 2 previous litters, all with very healthy and beautiful puppies.

Daddy Dog- Parks

This is Parks. He is daddy dog, and has fathered many of our other Australian Labradoodle litters. He has an amazingly soft coat, very very smart, and loves to talk to you about his day 😉

Here is more information about the Australian Labradoodle breed.

Australian Labradoodles is a mixed dog breed that started in Australia, I believe in the 80’s. It is was developed from Labradors, poodles, cocker spaniels, curly coated retrievers and Irish spaniels. They were developed by a breeder that wanted to breed for intelligence for the sake of being guide dogs for visually and mentally impaired, soft cotton-like coats that are hypoallergenic, as well as loyal, dedicated companions. So, needless to say, they are super smart, very sweet and social dogs.

Today we took momma in for a quick check. Vet has confirmed that momma dog is prego. We do not do an ultrasound- that just stresses momma dog out too much. So, we don’t know how many until babies are born. We have at least confirmed that breeding took, and babies are growing.

We are still on track for babies to arrive first week of August. There is a 10 day period of when momma dog can go into labor. So its not an exact science- each litter is a little different. But I will make sure to keep everyone updated, and include photos once babies have arrived.

We are getting closer 🙂

Babies Have Landed…

Babies were born mid-day yesterday. All healthy and strong. We have some beautiful tri colors, chocolates, and marbled brown coloring. I very excited to see them grow.

I will be reaching out to all families individually to touch base and confirm interested and placement within the picking order. So you will be hearing from me soon.

I will also be providing you with lots of updated on this page with important information and all the fun details.

Look at these Beautiful Boys!

Growing Big

All of the babies are growing so fast! All eyes are open, and they are already starting to eat puppy food. We will be starting on their doggie-door training this week. You’ll be surprised how quickly these little guys will catch on.

Their colors are all so beautifully marbled. Ill try to get some good photos to share that do them justice.

Awkward Baby Photos

I always the week their eyes open is when we get the best awkward babies photos 🙂 Their eyes are open, but bot completely focusing; they are eating mushy puppy food, so always have dinner remnants left somewhere on their face; and they are still eating from momma, so quirky little guys. lol.

Over the next week they will really start to be growing out of their baby look, and growing into their young puppy faces.

The puppies are getting so big! Eating Great! They are so so smart- already using the doggie-door to go in and out as they please.

Thursday the 9th, they have their vet exams scheduled. They will get their health clearance, and deworming. The first set of shots will be given next week at 6 weeks of age.

Then go home date is just around the corner. We will start arranging pick up times for Saturday the 18th.

They truly are all  beautiful and sweet in this litter. So much fun! I am excited to watch them grow. 🙂

Here is some basic information about the puppies schedule, and eating:

Eating- 3-4times per day. This can change to your schedule. Right now they eat about 6am, 11am, 3pm, and 7pm. With the entire litter, I do feed them 4 times just to make sure that they all get plenty of food, and no one gets left behind. But they can easily handle eating 3 times/day if that fits your schedule better.

I do let them eat as much as they want. Puppies are like toddlers. Some days they will eat a lot, others not as much. That is ok as long as they are offered food in a way to where they are never limited, then they won’t get food aggression tendencies or over eat.

They generally poop when they eat. So allowing them to have a place to do their business during eating time, is good idea.

They are starting to get their little puppy teeth in. So, at this time, they eat slightly softened puppy food.  As their teeth come in more, they will eat more and more completely solid puppy food. I typically suggest no canned food. Canned food is usually too rich on their tummies which can lead to diarrhea (no fun!).

All puppies are freely using the doggie-door! They come in and out as they please. I feed them outside, so most all poop is staying outside! YAY!! that is such an awesome foundation for potty training for you. They are super smart. So, I am sure they will learn quickly at their new homes.

It is normal for them to be nervous the first day they go home. so if they don’t eat much, its just nerves and excitement- totally normal. they will catch up by easting more later that day or the next.

Bellow is a breakdown of what the puppy shot schedule will look like. They will all be getting their first set of shots this Tuesday 09/14/21. Then each incremental shots will be given a month apart.

A quick reminder-

this is the food the puppies are on.
