Who Gets Who???

I know everyone will be excited to determine picks. Picks will be made closer to the 4-5 weeks of age.

I will contact families in order of deposits received, and we will make picks via FaceTime, zoom, videos and/or photos.

We do NOT allow for early visitations. The litters health is of top priority, and unintended transmission of serious virus/illness (parvo/kennel cough) happens all too frequently when early visitors are allowed.

What Puppy Food Will they be Eating?

Kirkland Brand puppy food

Momma Dog- Jade

Jade is a moyan poodle. She weighs about 35lbs. She is such a sweet girl. She loves to come lay her head on my should and just give me a hug. Jade is also super smart, very eager to please, and loves to play.

She has had 2 previous litters, all with very healthy and beautiful puppies.

Daddy Dog- Atticus

This is Atticus. He is daddy dog, and has fathered many of our other beautiful litters. He has an amazingly soft coat, very very smart, and hypoallergenic.
He weighs about 50lbs. Stands about 23″ tall.

3 weeks old

We have some of the sweetest, most adorable little babies in this litter. they are so gentle, and love their cuddles already.
They are already eating wonderfully! they eat their puppy food 4 times per day, and have great little appetites.
We will be starting on their doggie-door training in another couple days once this cold spell passes. You’ll be surprised how quickly they pick up on the going in and out. Usually it only takes a day or two, and they start to use the doggie-door independently. And usually by 5 weeks of age, their puppy pen stays extremely clean- which means most potty and poopoo is outside. Giving them this early foundation of potty training allows them to have a huge head start for house training once they come to their new homes.

We have their vet exams schedules for February 12th. this is when they will get their complete health checks, deworming, and fecal run. Then closer to 6 weeks of age is when they will get their first set of shots. More information on that to come.

4-5 weeks old

We had some big milestone this past week-
Our little babies had their vet apt this last Saturday. Everyone is as healthy as can be. We also received a negative fecal. Which means all are cleared of intestinal parasites/worms.
They are eating so good, They currently eat 4 meals/day, and have some pretty sturdy little baby teeth on the.
We started on doggie-door training over a week ago. The entire litter is coming in and out of the doggie-door already. It doesn’t take them too long to learn the basics. All poopoos for the litter are already all outside! We will continue to encourage all potty and poops to go outside too. With the weather being sunny and a little warmer over the next week, we should continue in the right direction to give them a great foundation before they come home to you.

As always, I am here for any questions along the way. We are getting closer to go home date of February 25th. Super exciting and fun. Usually the week before is when I reach out to schedule pick up times. I know a few families are traveling in, and working around work schedules. I do my best to be as flexible as possible. All I ask for is open communication, and we will make things work 🙂

Here is some basic information about the puppies schedule, and eating:

Eating- 3-4times per day. This can change to your schedule. Right now they eat about 6am, 11am, 3pm, and 7pm. With the entire litter, I do feed them 4 times just to make sure that they all get plenty of food, and no one gets left behind. But they can easily handle eating 3 times/day if that fits your schedule better.
I do let them eat as much as they want. Puppies are like toddlers. Some days they will eat a lot, others not as much. That is ok as long as they are offered food in a way to where they are never limited, then they won’t get food aggression tendencies or over eat.
They generally poop when they eat. So allowing them to have a place to do their business during eating time, is good idea.
I typically suggest no canned food. Canned food is usually too rich on their tummies which can lead to diarrhea (no fun!).
All puppies are freely using the doggie-door! They come in and out as they please. I feed them outside, so most all poop is staying outside! YAY!! that is such an awesome foundation for potty training for you. They are super smart. So, I am sure they will learn quickly at their new homes.
It is normal for them to be nervous the first day they go home. so if they don’t eat much, its just nerves and excitement- totally normal. they will catch up by easting more later that day or the next.

Pick Up Date- February 25th

We are only about a week off from pick up date. I will be making sure I contact each of your to arrange a specific time for pick up.
Please review all the take home information.

First Set of Shots

The litter will be getting their first of shots this coming week. This will be the first of 3 incremental puppy shots given about 1 month apart.
The fecal did come back negative. For those of you whom don’t live in Vegas or plan on doing a lot of traveling with your furry family member, I always suggest speaking with your vet about what they recommend for fleas, ticks, worm parasite prevention.
